Marchman Act practice

As a Florida Marchman Act attorney, Mr. Levine has personally represented thousands of individuals and families regarding drug addiction, mental health and incapacity issues. He has lectured to various medical professionals and is an accepted expert and authority on the Florida Marchman Act. He is the published author of The Marchman Act Legal Guide.

Mr. Levine is the founding co-partner of Addiction Recovery Legal Service, LLC, and founding partner of Levine and Associates. Marchman Act Legal Clinic is the registered name under which Addiction Recovery Legal Service, LLC practises.

Wider litigation experience

Mr. Levine handles complex personal injury litigation throughout the country. He has litigated, resolved and obtained judgments in the six and seven figure range, and has successfully appeared before the Supreme Courts of Florida and Nevada. He is a member of many legal associations and the recipient of many recognition awards.

Education

Mr. Levine attended Miami Palmetto High School and subsequently the University of Miami, graduating in 1986 with a Bachelor of Music degree, a Certificate of Distinguished Academic Achievement, the Music Industry Program Directors Award, and induction into the Iron Arrow Honor Society — the highest honour attainable at the University.

He then attended Nova Southeastern University Law School, obtaining his Juris Doctor in 1989 and becoming a member of The Florida Bar in 1990. Mr. Levine lives in Broward County, Florida.
