What happens when you call
The practice runs much like a doctor's office. Calls outside office hours reach an answering service, which takes your details and passes them on. The answering service cannot give legal advice and is not an emergency line.
Almost everything we do runs online, and that is genuinely the faster route. Completing the intake gives an attorney the full picture of your situation in one pass, rather than a message asking us to call back — and completed intakes are reviewed the same day.
Before you start
The intake asks about the person you are trying to help: their full name, date of birth, where they are right now, and what you have personally seen. You do not need to have everything to hand before you begin — your answers save as you go, and you can return to finish later.
Everything you tell us is confidential. Marchman Act proceedings carry specific confidentiality protections under Florida law and federal substance abuse confidentiality regulations, and communications with our attorneys are protected by attorney-client privilege from the moment a representation agreement is signed.
